Mobile Recharge on Paytm enables you to recharge your number instantly without any hassle, at any time, from anywhere. It provides you with several plans to browse and select the recharge plan of your choice. You can do your mobile recharge on Paytm through various payment modes in any state of India. Both prepaid and postpaid recharges can be done for various operators like JIO, Airtel, BSNL, etc.

You can download and log in to the Paytm app on your phone and follow the step by step guidelines-

Step 1: Open the Paytm app and scroll down to the ‘Recharges & Bill Payments’ section. Select the option to make a ‘prepaid mobile recharge’ or do a ‘postpaid recharge’

Step 2: Either select the number which you wish to recharge from your phone’s contact book or enter the number manually. You can also repeat a previous recharge

Step 3: Using the mobile number entered, Paytm will automatically detect the operator’s name. If this does not happen, you will have to select the operator manually

Step 4: Now, enter the amount which you want to recharge your mobile for. You can also browse from various plans provided by the mobile operators

Step 4: Once you have selected the plan, or entered the recharge amount, you need to click on ‘Pay’ and make the payment. You can also select the ‘Fast Forward’ option to get the amount automatically deducted from your Paytm wallet

If you don’t have the required amount in your wallet, you can either add money to your wallet or pay the remaining amount from your bank account ( through net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card). You also get the discount offers (if any) that pop up on the screen.
