Mobile Recharge on Paytm enables you to recharge your number instantly without any hassle, at any time, from anywhere. It provides you with several plans to browse and select the recharge plan of your choice.
You can do your mobile recharge on Paytm through various payment modes in any state of India. Both prepaid and postpaid recharges can be done for various operators like JIO, Airtel, BSNL, etc.
You can download and log in to the Paytm on your phone and follow the step by step guidelines-
Step 1: Go to the ‘Recharges and Bill Payments’ section where you will get the options to make prepaid and postpaid payments.
Step 2: Enter the mobile number which you wish to recharge. You may get options from your contact list. Also, you can repeat the recent recharges on number(s), if you have already done it earlier.
Step 3: Next, enter the ‘Operator Name’. Paytm app usually auto-detects it, or you can browse from the list of names of service providers. Then, enter the amount you wish to recharge. You can also browse the various plans provided by the operators.
Step 4: Once you have selected the plan, you will get the option of paying the required amount as per the plan; for example, Pay Rs. 599.
Step 5: You will also get the option to change your plan before you make the payment, else you can also choose to ‘Fast-Forward’ the payment using your Paytm Wallet.
If you don’t have the required amount in your wallet, you can either add money to your wallet or pay the remaining amount from your bank account (pay through net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card). You also get the discount offers (if there are any) that pop up on the screen.
Mobile recharge through the Paytm app/site is a simple and swift process. Paytm has made prepaid and postpaid mobile recharges more accessible to consumers, as they do not need to contact the operator’s customer service for recharge or go to recharge shops. Also, the consumers can perform the mobile recharge at their ease of time, place, and money. You can make a fast-forward payment from Paytm Wallet. Also, you can pay for recharges through UPI, cards, and net banking. Paytm allows customers to use BHIM UPI, as well as, you can link the bank accounts with Paytm for UPI payments.
