Empowering Women with our Financial Literacy Programme — Paytmers step up to Create Awareness and Drive Inclusion

We are thrilled to announce that we have introduced a new programme on Financial Literacy under a volunteering initiative through our CSR arm Paytm Foundation. We believe financial literacy is a key driver to economic empowerment and social progress. Through this programme, we are bridging this gap by providing valuable knowledge and skills that empower women to make informed financial decisions, create budgets, save for the future, and build a foundation for financial independence.

Through this, we are aiming to make an impact in the lives of countless individuals. We are expecting to reach over 1000 women with insightful one-hour sessions with the help of various non-profit organisations and Paytmers. We have curated a course, especially for women, where Paytmers will also volunteer to deliver the sessions. Being a leader in finance, we are hoping to provide the best financial advice through training.

The volunteer roles include workshop facilitators, where they will share their financial expertise and guidance through key concepts. Supporting the event by assisting with logistics, registration, and ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees. And mentors them by providing training to the target audience, answering questions and offering personalised advice.

We have allocated the time slots where Paytmers will offer the training on Financial Literacy online and offline. By empowering the lives of women through this, we are helping these women to manage their finances better. We have conducted special webinars for women on how to make independent financial decisions for themselves and get started on investments if they haven’t already. We aim at financial equality, irrespective of gender or orientation.

We are on a mission to create more inclusiveness and empower communities. In keeping with our mission, we will be working towards our special initiative to promote financial literacy among underprivileged women.
