Welcome to our new series where we will share insights about our recently launched Campus to Corporate (C2C) training programme. This is aimed at helping our new joinees in finding their path to success and growth at Paytm.
A Platform to Learn the Tricks of the Trade
In the recent months, we have hired many graduates from India’s top B-schools and renowned universities. They have joined us in various technical and non technical roles for product, growth, operations, analytics, business and program management across businesses such as payments, lending, insurance, wealth management and commerce.
The C2C training programme is our initiative to help these bright, young minds for the innovative challenges at Paytm. As part of the programme, these freshers will undergo a three-month training, where they learn the tricks of the trade from business leaders and their peers.
Designed for Personal and Professional Development
The programme provides Paytmers with opportunities to grow – both personally and professionally. It helps them with strong technical understanding, product sense, analytical ability, and clear communication skills.
In the first month, the programme started with an induction, along with a detailed orientation. Moving ahead, the training programme will include internal sessions for context building, excel training for beginners to advance learning, SQL for beginners, data analysis, hypothesis testing, and understanding data sources with HIVE and GDS.
The C2C programme also includes one-on-one professional development training with a management coach, who will support the trainees in achieving specific personal or professional goals. The management coaching is tailored to each fresher’s needs – whether it is developing new skills or navigating challenging situations. During this training programme, Paytmers will also get a chance to work with diverse teams and gain valuable experience. The programme will also help them understand the unique roles of individuals and teams across Paytm.
Apart from the C2C programme, our Learning & Development team has also introduced the Associate Product Managers (APMs) programme in 2022.
