  • If you are a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, you can call on 040-66720567 (regular charges may apply).
  • For North-eastern states, the number is 040-66720581 (regular charges may apply).
  • These numbers are available during service hours from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • An automated Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) will provide you with the necessary information during non-working hours.

2. Via SMS

  • Send an SMS from your registered mobile number in the following format: STATUS <FILE NUMBER> to 9704 100 100.

Note: This SMS service is not free and may incur charges.

3. Via Email

  • You can also track your passport application by emailing the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at [email protected].
