EPFO Discontinues Acceptance of Aadhaar Card as Proof of Date of Birth

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in India has announced that it will no longer accept the Aadhaar Card as proof of date of birth. The Aadhaar Card is primarily an identity verification tool and not a proof of birth, according to the EPFO.
