In the hustle and bustle of today’s modern life, the significance of good sleep is something that is underestimated and compromised. The understanding of how sleep influences our lives extends beyond simply feeling refreshed in the morning. From making important decisions to brainstorming creative ideas, it plays a pivotal role in cognitive function. The work-life balance of Paytmers is highly supported from top to bottom. Recognising that a well-rested team is a productive team, we promote the vital connection between sleep and overall well-being.
Prioritising the health of Paytmers, we organised a webinar under Paytm Swasthya on the ‘Impact of Sleep on Physical and Mental Wellbeing,’ on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. We invited Dr. Sandeep Govil, Senior Consultant – Psychiatry, Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi, to highlight the importance of sleep, types of sleep disorders, reasons causing them, and how to combat the same.
We ensure to connect with each and every Paytmer through these webinars. The recent session outlined the connection between sleep and the body’s physical resilience. With ample rest, Paytmers can be better equipped to ward off illnesses, recover from strenuous physical activity, and maintain their overall health.
We are on a mission to create a workplace of healthy body and mind. We run Paytm Swasthya under which we organise webinars on health issues, marathons, yoga sessions, etc for the mental and physical well-being of Paytmers. By inviting a dignified person for the session we make sure that correct and authentic knowledge is being imparted to Paytmers about the concerned health issues. By fostering a culture of rest and rejuvenation, we emphasise the significance of work-life balance.
