We, at Paytm, believe women need to be celebrated and inspired everyday. The women of Paytm have truly lived up to this year’s theme of International Women’s Day ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’. They excel in the multiple roles they lead – work, family, and many other things.
We have always encouraged our women employees in leadership to frontline roles and they continue to lead and inspire us.
Here are small things we did this Women’s Day for their well-being, as a token of our appreciation!
Prioritising Health
Our success also lies in the success of our employees and we hope to facilitate them with best-in-class benefits that prioritise their health, wellness, and financial well-being. This year, we are celebrating International Women’s Day by organising a special session on Breast Cancer Awareness. We are doing a special webinar, where we have invited Dr. Satyam Taneja, Director – Surgical Oncology (Breast) of Max Super Speciality Hospital to address the awareness session on Breast Cancer.
We believe regular preventive health checkups are important. Taking preventive measures can help us to identify any early signs of potential health issues. Keeping this as a priority, our HRs are regularly organising wellness sessions across the team, including on-site and remote employees. For us, mindfulness, meditation, and constant interaction with health experts can help Paytmers better manage wellness.
We are trying to make every day special for our women employees with comprehensive healthcare coverage, wealth creation opportunities, and many more. We are also offering creche facilities, paid maternity and paternity leave, and implemented a strong POSH policy, with special helpline counseling. We have been inviting counselors and conducting yoga sessions for mental and physical well-being.
Inspiring Our Superwomen
To inspire our superwomen and make this day extra special, we have also sent curated gifts and delicacies to our women Paytmers. A specially customised gift hamper, which included a plant and chocolates, along with a token of appreciation card.
Empowering Paytmers with Learning Programes
We have also launched campaigns and webinars to promote financial equality and wellness. We started a training programme to help women manage their financial health in a more planned way. We want all our employees to be financially equal, irrespective of gender or orientation.
We have been encouraging them to become financially aware and independent and take active steps toward managing their money. We run several initiatives around financial guidance through financial coaching, regular webinars, timely IPO alerts, free Demat accounts, and more.
