You can not only make payments via the Paytm app on third-party/3P apps but also recharge your wallet through these apps for a seamless experience. This is how you can do it:

  • Go to the Payments section of these apps like Zomato, Uber, etc. where you can save your wallet details
  • It will reflect your wallet balance and you can recharge it right there without opening up the Paytm application separately
  • For example, when you open the Zomato app, go to your account and then click on the ‘Payments’ section
  • Here, you can save your credit/debit cards, UPI IDs, net banking details, and online wallets for payments to choose from, while paying for food orders
  • Add the Paytm wallet number here and you can check the balance and recharge it right here
  • Add the amount you wish to proceed with the payment
  • You can recharge through UPI, credit/debit cards or Net banking
  • Similarly, you can do it in other applications like Swiggy or Uber

5. Add Money via Cash

You can now deposit cash to your Paytm wallet by reaching out to the nearest Paytm Business Correspondent Points (BC Points), also called KYC points. Paytm BC Points are agents who provide Paytm Banking services at various locations. You can not only deposit and withdraw money in Paytm Bank but also deposit cash in your Paytm wallet. Here are a few guidelines:

  • Find out the nearest BC point
  • You can complete your full KYC in a few easy steps either at the KYC center or through video KYC at home
  • After full KYC, you can deposit up to INR 1 Lakh per month into your Paytm wallet
  • You do not need to pay any extra charges for using this facility by Paytm

The multiple avenues of payment and adding money to the wallet make it user-friendly for the customers to proceed with the option that they are convenient with. It also enhances the success rate as, if one kind of transaction fails, then the other can be tried out. For instance, if you do not remember the CVV of your credit/debit card, you can add money through UPI. Whether you make the card payment, BHIM UPI, or internet banking, they can be associated with any bank and may or may not be linked to the Paytm account.
