Your UPI ID is a unique identifier that allows others to send you money directly to your linked bank account. Here's how to find your UPI ID on the Paytm App.

What is UPI ID?

A UPI ID is a unique virtual payment address linked to your bank account. It is automatically created when you activate Paytm UPI and is used to send and receive money without sharing your bank account details. You can share this UPI ID with anyone to receive payments instantly.

Steps to Check UPI ID on Paytm

Method 1: From Profile Settings

1. Open the Paytm App on your smartphone.
2. Tap on your profile icon at the top-left corner.
3. Select 'UPI & Payment Settings'.
4. Tap on 'UPI ID' section.
5. Your UPI ID(s) will be displayed here.

Method 2: From Home Screen

1. Open the Paytm App.
2. Look for the 'UPI ID' displayed below your name or profile section on the home screen.
3. Tap on it to view all your linked UPI IDs.

Understanding Your UPI ID Format

• Format: Your UPI ID typically looks like mobilenumber@ptaxis or mobilenumber@ptsbi.
• Multiple IDs: You can have multiple UPI IDs linked to different bank accounts.
• Primary ID: One UPI ID is set as your primary ID for receiving payments.

How to Change or Set a Primary UPI ID on Paytm

1. Open the Paytm App and go to 'UPI & Payment Settings'.
2. Tap on the UPI ID section to view all your linked UPI IDs.
3. Tap the three dots (⋮) next to the UPI ID you are currently using.
4. Select the UPI ID you want to set as your primary.
5. Tap 'Set as Primary' or 'Change Primary UPI ID' and confirm your selection.

Note: Your primary UPI ID is the default ID used for receiving money on Paytm.

How to Share Your UPI ID

• Tap on your UPI ID and select 'Share' or 'Copy'.
• Share it via WhatsApp, SMS, or any other messaging app.
• The sender can use this ID to transfer money to your linked bank account.
