Important Update: Paytm Payments Bank Wallet is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
As of March 15, 2024, the Paytm Payments Bank Wallet is no longer available for use (no new deposits, no existing balance usage, no credits).
Wallet Closed: Your Paytm Wallet is closed. Any remaining balance cannot be used or added to.
Paytm App Still Works: You can still use the Paytm app for payments by linking your UPI to your existing bank accounts (from other banks). This is how you transact on Paytm now.
Paytm allows you to purchase specific brand gift cards, which can be used for shopping with those brands. You can buy them for yourself or as a gift for others.
Purchase:
You can buy digital gift cards for various popular brands directly through the Paytm app.
Payment for these brand gift cards uses your linked bank account via UPI, Debit/Credit Card, etc.
Usage/Redemption:
Once purchased, you will receive the gift card code/details for the specific brand.
These gift cards must be redeemed directly on the respective brand's platform (website or app), not within Paytm.
You can either use them yourself or share the code with someone else as a gift.
Validity & Terms:
Always check the expiry date and specific Terms & Conditions set by the brand for each gift card. These will define what it can be used for and its validity period.
Paytm Brand Gift Cards are typically non-cancellable and non-refundable once purchased.
Important: Brand Gift Cards purchased on Paytm are not related to the old Paytm Payments Bank Wallet. They are separate digital vouchers for specific external brands.
