When a ticket is cancelled, Paytm immediately initiates the refund, but the time it takes to credit your account is controlled by your bank.

What You Should Know:
  • Timeline: The standard time for a refund to reflect in your source account (Bank/Card) is 3 to 7 working days from the date Paytm initiated the refund.
  • Source: The refund is always credited back to the original payment source (e.g., the bank account or card used for the purchase).
  • Check Status:
    • Go to the "My Orders" section in the Paytm app.
    • Check the specific canceled ticket order. The details will show the status of the refund (Initiated/Successful) and often provide a Refund Reference Number (UTR/ARN).
Next Steps (If Delayed):

If more than 7 working days have passed, you should:

  • Contact your bank with the Refund Reference Number (UTR/ARN) provided in the Paytm order details.
  • If the bank cannot trace it, raise a query through the "Help & Support" section for that specific order in the Paytm app.
