How to verify itr through bank account

To e-Verify your Income Tax Return (ITR) using a bank account, follow these steps:

• Log in to the e-Filing portal and navigate to the e-Verify Return page under the e-File menu.
• Select the option Through Bank Account under the Generate Electronic Verification Code (EVC) section.
• Ensure your bank account is already pre-validated and EVC-enabled on the portal.
• Enter the 10-digit alphanumeric EVC sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
• Click on E-Verify to successfully complete the authentication process.
