How to fill challan for cheque deposit

To fill a cheque deposit challan, obtain the slip from your bank branch and provide these details in both the bank and customer portions:

• Date: Enter the current date of deposit.
• Account Details: Write your full name and the 10-16 digit bank account number where funds should be credited.
• Cheque Info: Note the cheque number, date, and the name of the bank/branch it is drawn from.
• Amount: Specify the amount clearly in both figures and words (e.g., Rupees Five Thousand Only).
• Signature: Sign the slip to authorize the deposit.

Submit the filled challan with the cheque to the teller or drop box.
