How to enable evc on bank account

To enable Electronic Verification Code (EVC) on your bank account for income tax purposes, you must first pre-validate your account on the e-Filing portal. Follow these steps:
  • Log in to the income tax e-Filing portal.
  • Go to "My Bank Account" under the "Profile" section.
  • Add your bank account details and ensure your PAN and mobile number are linked to the account.
  • Once the bank validates your details, select the "Enable EVC" option for that validated account.
An EVC will then be sent to your registered mobile number and email when required for e-verification.
