How to fill slip for cheque deposit

To fill a cheque deposit slip (pay-in-slip) at an Indian bank, follow these steps:
  • Enter the current date and your bank account number accurately.
  • Write the account holder's name as registered with the bank.
  • Under the cheque deposit section, list each cheque individually with its unique cheque number and the amount.
  • Calculate the total amount of all cheques and write it in the total column.
  • Write the total amount in words as well.
  • Provide your mobile number and sign the slip if required.
Ensure you receive the stamped counterfoil from the teller as proof of deposit.
