How to e verify itr through bank account

To e-Verify your Income Tax Return (ITR) through a bank account, follow these steps:

• Log in to the e-Filing portal and navigate to the e-Verify Return page under the e-File menu.
• Select the option to generate an Electronic Verification Code (EVC) through a bank account. This requires your bank account to be pre-validated and EVC-enabled.
• The 10-digit alpha-numeric EVC will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
• Enter the EVC in the required field on the portal and click e-Verify to complete the process.
