#CampusToCorporate: Learning never stops at Paytm

We introduced our Campus to Corporate (C2C) programme to train future leaders, who would be part of our innovation-driven culture.

With our C2C programme, new joinees are getting the opportunity to learn and work as full-time product, growth and business leaders. The Paytmers have joined us in various roles ranging from product, growth, operations, analytics, business to program management across businesses – payments, lending, insurance, wealth management and commerce.

Through the programme, we are providing additional support and mentorship to our young talent so that they can gear up to take on the role earlier in their career. The programme is giving a common platform to these beginners, who are mentored through leadership coaching to become effective communicators, managers, and leaders.

What do Paytmers Think About the Program?

We spoke with various participants of the C2C programme and all of them had one thought – they appreciate the large C2C network that the Learning & Development team has curated. They feel it’s the best program to connect with the leaders here as during the leadership coaching, mentors share their experiences and their corporate journey. Most of these newbies are from non-technical backgrounds and through this programme, we are helping them understand the technical side of Paytm’s business.

Supporting our new joinees is an important aspect of the programme. During the course, our leadership team takes them through project management, product management, Paytm mindset, growth management, among others. The employees are spending time working with product managers and engineers, understanding the nitty gritties of the business.

They are also enjoying the community as all the programme members get the opportunity to know each other better through group presentations, where they build a rapport with others in their cohort.

As the C2C program is an initial start of their professional careers, they are getting a large overview of Paytm’s businesses. We believe this brings value as they start to lead an impactful project within their respective departments.
