Want to make payments faster? You can add a dedicated Paytm Scan & Pay shortcut (widget) directly to your mobile phone’s home screen. This allows you to quickly open the scanner without having to open the full Paytm app first.
Here are the simple steps to add the Paytm Scan & Pay shortcut/widget to your home screen:
- Step 1: Open the Paytm App and tap on the Profile Icon (your display picture or initials) at the top left of the home screen.
- Step 2: On the profile screen, scroll down to find and tap on ‘Add Scan & Pay Shortcut’ (it’s often located near your QR code).
- Step 3: Preview the shortcut on your phone’s home screen and then tap ‘Add’ at the bottom right.
- Step 4: A pop-up will appear. Tap ‘Add’ again to confirm adding the widget to your home screen. (Alternatively, you may be prompted to “Touch and hold to add,” in which case you drag the widget to your desired position).
The Scan & Pay shortcut is now on your home screen, allowing you to instantly launch the scanner and pay!
