Our associate Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL), announced that it now enables convenient payments for car parking at the underground parking at Noida — Sector 16 using FASTag. Our Bank has partnered with Noida Development Authority authorized MG Infra Solutions, to facilitate digital payments for the parking at the prominent underground Film City parking site.

In association with MG infra solutions, our Bank will also soon enable FASTag payments at the Sector 18 multi-level car parking along with Sector 38A multi-level car parking in Noida while also providing its transit wallet card solution for providing ease of parking payments throughout the city.

With this partnership, people can pay the parking fees digitally, without worrying about the cash payment. We work on the radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology, allowing users to drive through the FASTag lanes without making them stop and tender cash to pay at parkings, saving both fuel and time. Our associate bank is the largest issuer of FASTags and one of the largest acquirers of toll and parking plazas in India.

With FASTag, we have gained popularity for its instant activation and superior customer care support. Another benefit is that users do not require a separate prepaid account or login credentials as all Paytm FASTags are linked seamlessly to the popular Paytm Wallet. We have already gone live at other prominent parking lots such as Pune Airport, AIIMS, Patna Airport, DLF City Centre, Star Mall, South Point Mall, Pacific Malls, among others.

“We continue to drive innovation in digital payments by enabling users to conveniently pay their parking charges along with various other existing use cases. For the crowded and popular spots in Noida, we are happy to bring FASTag-based parking which will improve the consumer convenience while providing seamless travel in and out of these parking sites.”

Surinder Chawla, MD & CEO, Paytm Payments Bank

With the help of Paytm Payments Bank and our authorized MG Infra Solutions, multi level vehicle parking in Noida sector 16, 18 and 38 will become smart parking. Vehicles entering the MLCP’s in Noida would be able to pay digitally via FASTag with near free flow movement in and out of the parking lot. Moreover, easy payment facility will also be used at the two wheeler parking at all Noida parkings with the help of  Paytm NCMC card. This would contribute to the overall digitisation of Noida.”

SP Bhati, GM incharge, Noida Authority

In an initiative of enabling all our parkings with FASTag, till date, we have converted our Noida Sector 16A film city underground parking into FASTag-based smart parking along with Paytm Payments Bank. Furthermore, we will be introducing the same at Sector 38A and 18 parking as well. We are also planning to launch Paytm NCMC card based parking at all these sectors along with pre-booking for parking slots providing ease at entry/exit.”
