Women’s Day is not just about celebration for us — it’s about taking meaningful action to empower women beyond words. As part of our volunteering initiative, our CSR arm Paytm Foundation conducted a Financial Literacy Training session for Anganwadi workers in Chalera, Noida this International Women’s Day, aimed at empowering them with essential financial management skills.
These sessions aim to equip women with essential skills to manage finances, plan budgets, and make secure digital transactions. These frontline workers play a vital role in community welfare, and by strengthening their financial acumen, we are enabling them to uplift not just themselves but also the families and communities they support.
Our program focused on digital financial literacy, educating participants on secure digital transactions, smart budgeting, and safe usage of online financial tools. The session covered key aspects such as digital payments, cybersecurity awareness, savings strategies, and government financial schemes for women, ensuring that they have the right resources to make informed financial decisions.
The interactive sessions by Paytmers sparked meaningful discussions, addressing real-life financial challenges and solutions. Through our volunteering initiatives, we have already impacted over 1,000 women across diverse organizations, helping bridge the gap in financial knowledge and fostering long-term economic empowerment.
For us, this was more than just a training—it was a step towards creating a future where financial literacy is not a privilege but a right. Real change happens when intent meets impact, and at Paytm, we remain committed to driving this transformation every day.
