Step 1– Visit the echallan.parivahan.gov
Step2– Choose ‘Check Challan Status‘ from the drop-down menu under ‘Check Online Service’
Step3– Enter the required details and captcha code
Step4– Click on ‘Get Details’
Step5– Click on the ‘Pay Now’ option
Step6– Select the mode of payment to pay challan fees
Step7– Once the transaction is complete, the user will receive a transaction ID, note it down for future reference
Process to Make Online Traffic Fine Payment on The State Transport Website
Follow the below-mentioned steps to pay online traffic fines on the state transport website.
Step 1- Visit the official state transport website
Step 2- You will find a specific section of pay violation fines
Step 3- Choose from different options such as parking charges, spot fines, etc. as shown on the page
Step 4- Click on the appropriate link and enter the required details based on the type of traffic violation
Step 5- Enter the vehicle registration number of the parking violation tag number
Step 6- Enter details of the current outstanding amount
Step 7- You can make payment using a Master or Visa card

Online payment portals like Paytm make the payment of challan quite easy as they involve a very simple process. Follow these steps to pay challan online–
On Paytm Mobile App
- Open the Paytm Mobile Application on your phone
- Search for ‘Challan’ and click on it
- Select the ‘Traffic Authority’
- Enter the required details such as Challan ID/Number, vehicle number, etc.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ to check the fine amount
- Choose the preferred mode of payment from credit card, debit card, Paytm UPI & net banking
- Once you complete the payment you will receive a notification regarding the same
On Paytm Website
- Sign in to the Paytm website
- Navigate to ‘Recharge & Pay Bills’ and click on ‘Challan’
- Choose the ‘Traffic Authority’
- Enter the required details such as Challan ID/Number, vehicle number, etc.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ to check the fine amount

Note: Currently, individuals can pay challan for Andhra Pradesh, Avadi, Chennai, Tambaram, Telangana and Haryana traffic authorities only at Paytm.
