If you're facing an issue with a UPI payment, such as a failed transaction, pending payment, money deducted but not received, or an incorrect transfer, you can raise a complaint directly through the Paytm app.
Before getting started, keep your transaction details handy, such as the UPI Reference Number (UTR/RRN), transaction date, and payment amount.
How to Raise a UPI Complaint on Paytm?
- Open the Paytm app.
- Tap your Profile icon.
- Select Help & Support.
- Describe your issue to the chat assistant. Based on your query, Paytm will display the relevant UPI transactions.
- Select the transaction you need help with. Tap View More if it's an older transaction.
- Choose the issue that best matches your problem, such as Payment Failed, Money Debited but Not Credited, Wrong UPI Transaction, or Payment Pending.
- Follow the suggested resolution. If your issue isn't resolved, raise a support ticket from the same screen and note down the complaint or ticket reference number for future follow-up.
When Can You Raise a UPI Complaint?
- UPI payment failed.
- Money deducted but the payment wasn't completed.
- Payment pending for an unusually long time.
- Money sent to the wrong UPI ID.
- Refund or reversal-related issues.
- Unauthorized or suspicious UPI transactions.

After raising your complaint, you can check updates from the Paytm app support section. Keep your complaint details and transaction reference numbers available while checking the status.
