Steps to Link Bank Account with UPI in Paytm

Follow these simple steps to link bank account with UPI in Paytm:

1. Open the Paytm App on your smartphone.
2. Tap your profile icon on the top-left corner.
3. Go to 'UPI & Payment Settings'.
4. Tap on 'Link Bank Account' or 'Add a Bank Account'.
5. Choose your bank name from the list provided.
6. Paytm will then verify your mobile number (linked with your bank account) via SMS-based authentication.
7. Once verified, your bank account details will be fetched automatically.
8. If you haven't set up a UPI PIN, you will be prompted to do so using your debit card.

Note: A UPI ID is created automatically.

What Happens Next?

• You'll get a UPI ID for each linked account.
• Set one account as default—this is used for UPI payments.
• You can now send/receive money, pay bills, recharge, shop, and more—without typing your bank details each time.
