UPI Lite is a feature by NPCI that allows you to make small-value UPI payments without entering your UPI PIN for every transaction. It is designed for quick, everyday payments like chai, snacks, or parking.

Steps to Enable UPI Lite on Paytm

Follow these steps to activate and start using UPI Lite:

• Open the Paytm App:
  • Launch the Paytm App on your smartphone.
• Navigate to UPI Lite:
  • On the home screen, look for the 'UPI Lite' banner or tap on 'UPI & Payment Settings' from your profile icon.
• Enable UPI Lite:
  • Tap on 'Enable UPI Lite' or 'Activate UPI Lite'.
  • Select the bank account from which you want to load money into UPI Lite.
• Add Money:
  • Enter the amount you wish to add (Maximum ₹2,000).
  • Enter your UPI PIN to authorize the transfer.
• Start Transacting:
  • Once enabled, you can make payments up to ₹500 per transaction without entering your UPI PIN.
