If you no longer wish to use UPI Lite for small-value transactions, you can easily disable the feature from within the Paytm App. Any remaining balance in your UPI Lite wallet will be automatically refunded to your linked bank account.

Steps to Disable UPI Lite on Paytm

Follow the steps below to deactivate UPI Lite:

• Open the Paytm App:
  • Launch the Paytm App on your smartphone.
• Navigate to UPI Lite Settings:
  • Go to your Profile and tap on 'UPI & Payment Settings'.
  • Tap on the 'UPI Lite' section.
• Disable UPI Lite:
  • Look for an option like 'Disable UPI Lite' or 'Deactivate'.
  • Confirm your choice when prompted.
• Balance Refund:
  • Any remaining balance in your UPI Lite wallet will be automatically credited back to your linked bank account within a few minutes.

Important Notes

• Re-activation: You can re-enable UPI Lite at any time by following the activation steps.
• No Charges: There are no charges for enabling or disabling UPI Lite.
