Paytm allows users to link their RuPay Credit Cards for making UPI payments at eligible merchants. However, this facility is available only for RuPay credit cards issued by banks that are officially enabled for UPI transactions as per NPCI guidelines.

How to Know If Your RuPay Credit Card Supports UPI on Paytm?

  1. Open the Paytm app.
  2. Go to the UPI section and select the option to link a credit card.
  3. Select your bank and enter your RuPay Credit Card details.
  4. If your card is supported, it will be linked successfully.

What If Your Bank Is Not Listed?

If your bank does not appear in the supported list, it means your RuPay Credit Card is currently not enabled for UPI payments. Only banks approved under NPCI guidelines can provide RuPay Credit Card UPI functionality.

The list of supported banks may expand in the future as more banks enable RuPay Credit Card-based UPI payments.

Many leading banks, including SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and others, offer RuPay Credit Cards with UPI payment support. The availability of UPI functionality depends on whether the specific bank and card variant are enabled for this feature.
