If your train ticket was cancelled and the refund has not yet been credited to your account after the expected period, follow this process to track and escalate the issue.

Check the refund status within your Paytm application first.

  • Open Paytm app and navigate to your profile on the top left corner of the app
  • Now, locate 'Order History' to find the cancelled train ticket.
  • Verify the Refund Status and the expected settlement date (typically 3-7 bank working days, depending on the bank and method).

If the refund timeline has passed:

  • Lodge a complaint through the Paytm Help & Support section for that specific transaction.
  • If the issue is unresolved by Paytm within the regulated period, you can escalate the matter via the official railway complaint channels (e.g., IRCTC/Railways customer service, if applicable) or the RBI Ombudsman for digital transactions.
