Paytm is integrated with IRCTC to allow you to book train tickets for journeys across India. You can search for trains, check availability, and book tickets with instant confirmation.

Steps to Book Train Tickets on Paytm

Follow the steps to book your train ticket:

• Navigate to Train Tickets:
  • Open the Paytm App.
  • Tap on 'Train Tickets' from the Travel section on the home screen.
• Link IRCTC Account (If Not Already):
  • If you haven't linked your IRCTC account, you will be prompted to do so.
  • Enter your IRCTC User ID and Password, or create a new IRCTC account.
• Enter Travel Details:
  • Enter the Departure Station (From) and Arrival Station (To).
  • Select the Date of Journey.
  • Tap 'Search Trains'.
• Select a Train:
  • Browse the list of available trains with timings and seat availability.
  • Check the availability status for different classes (Sleeper, 3AC, 2AC, 1AC, etc.).
  • Tap on your preferred train and class.
• Enter Passenger Details:
  • Enter the Name, Age, Gender, and Berth Preference for all passengers.
  • Add your Contact Number for booking updates.
• Review and Pay:
  • Review the fare details and passenger information.
  • Enter your IRCTC Password when prompted.
  • Tap 'Proceed to Pay' and select your preferred payment mode (UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Cards).
  • Complete the payment.
• Booking Confirmation:
  • Upon successful payment, you will receive your e-ticket with PNR number via SMS and email.
  • You can also view and download your ticket from 'My Orders' in the Paytm App.
