Steps to Send Money to a Bank Account

Follow this guide to complete a direct bank transfer:

  • Select Transfer Option:
    • Open the Paytm App.
    • Tap on the 'To Bank A/c or UPI ID' icon on the home screen.
  • Choose Transfer Method:
    • On the next screen, select 'Enter Bank A/c No. & IFSC'.
  • Enter Recipient Details:
    • Type in the recipient's Bank Account Number.
    • Enter the Bank Name or IFSC Code.
    • Tap 'Proceed'.
  • Enter Amount:
    • Input the amount you wish to transfer.
    • Tap 'Proceed'.
  • Complete Payment:
    • Select the bank account you want to pay from.
    • Enter your UPI PIN to authorize the transaction.
    • The transfer will be completed instantly.

What to Do If a Transaction Fails?

If a transaction fails due to network issues or incorrect details:

  • Check Bank Statement: Verify if the money was actually debited from your account.
  • Retry: If the money was not debited, check the recipient details for errors and try again.
  • Contact Support: If money was debited but the transaction failed, go to the 'Help & Support' section in the app to raise a ticket for quick assistance.
