Can I set up UPI without a debit card?

Yes, you can set up UPI without a debit card by using your Aadhaar number for verification. This facility is available for banks that support Aadhaar-based UPI onboarding. To use this method, ensure:

• Your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account.
• Your mobile number registered with the bank and Aadhaar is the same.

During setup, select the Aadhaar option to generate your UPI PIN. You will receive OTPs from both UIDAI and your bank to complete the authentication process.
