Can I use UPI with a credit card?

Yes, you can use a credit card for UPI transactions, provided it is a RuPay credit card. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) currently allow linking RuPay credit cards from participating banks to UPI applications. This feature enables seamless payments at merchant outlets by scanning QR codes. However, these transactions are specifically for merchant payments (P2M) and cannot be used for person-to-person (P2P) money transfers or payments to other credit cards.
