How to write withdrawal cheque

To write a withdrawal cheque, also known as a self-cheque, follow these steps:
  • Write the current date in the top-right corner in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • In the Pay line, write Self to indicate you are the recipient.
  • Enter the withdrawal amount in words on the Rupees line, ending with the word Only.
  • Write the same amount in numerical figures in the box provided, using a slash or hyphen (/-) to prevent tampering.
  • Sign the cheque at the bottom-right corner, ensuring it matches the signature on your bank records.
