How to write lakh in cheque

To write one lakh on a cheque, follow these steps:

• In the amount in words section, write One Lakh Rupees Only.
• In the box for the numerical amount, write 1,00,000/-.
• Ensure the word Only is written after the amount in words and a slash with a hyphen (/-) is used after the figures to prevent unauthorized additions.
• Always start writing from the far left of the provided space to avoid any gaps.
