We came, we saw, we conquered at the Super Sixer League – a Paytm cricket league tournament held over a long weekend in April. Presented by AWS, the tournament saw cricket enthusiasts and pro players from our leadership teams participating along with technology, product, growth, marketing, finance, offline merchants, litigation, corporate, enterprise mid-market, and TELCO teams.
Paytmers from diverse teams came together on the pitch to display the spirit of true sportsmanship.
Our in house Fun Club played an active role in getting this tournament off the ground and getting team Paytm all excited for participation. Team Cric Thunders took home the coveted trophy (they won by 36 runs), while the runner-up PG Commandos offered a good fight till the end. Apart from lively commentary by one of our own talented Paytmers, the audience also kept track of the match with live updates and scores via an app. The tournament was followed by an evening prize distribution ceremony, lively performances and high tea.

Over four days, 16 teams with 15 players each battled it out at the HowZzatt Sports Cricket Ground in Greater Noida
Teams across functions paired up to play cricket as one. A practice match between teams before the tournament helped Paytmers warm up for the main event.

There was dancing and celebration as the match days progressed. High energy was displayed on the pitch as Paytmers came together for the love of cricket, first time since the pandemic.
