Children’s Day is a reminder of the joy, imagination, and wonder that children bring into our lives. This year, along with our CSR arm Paytm Foundation, we celebrated Children’s Day with the children of Uday Foundation, sparking creativity, and spreading smiles. The day began with an introduction between the Paytm Foundation volunteers and children, each bringing their unique hobbies and interests to share. From art enthusiasts to sports lovers, these passionate individuals set a warm and welcoming tone for the celebration, making each child feel comfortable and excited for the day ahead.
With laughter filling the room, children and Paytmers joined the fun activities where the children were divided into small groups of 10 and were tagged to Paytm’s leaders for an exciting drawing activity. Each team received a sheet to draw their favourite things on it. This activity allowed our leaders to connect with the kids on a personal level, encouraging them to express themselves creatively. By guiding them through the drawing, our leaders helped spark interest in new ideas and technology in a fun, interactive way.
The highlight of the event was the series of lively performances by the children. The kids enthralled everyone with their dance and singing performances on Bollywood songs. The event wrapped up with inspiring words from both the children and Paytm’s leadership. The children expressed their gratitude for a memorable day, while Paytm’s leaders highlighted the importance of nurturing young minds and empowering them for a bright future.
