Step 1: Visit the e-Parivahan website and login with the user ID and password to start with the e-auction stage.  

Step 2: After you have logged in, click on the ‘Bidding Process Menu’ and get the unique acknowledgement number (UAN).

Step 3: Now initiate payment for the registration fee and caution money of the custom registration number. 

Step 4: You have to choose the preferred registration number to block the number. 

Step 5: For the category of 1 to 4, you have the option to change or increase the bid in multiples of ₹10,000. In the case of category 5, you can bid for the number in multiples of ₹1000.
