If a friend or family member has invited you to the Paytm App, applying their referral code is the key to both of you earning cashback and rewards. It’s a quick step during the initial setup of your account.
If you are a new user and have received a referral code, here are the steps to apply it:
- Step 1: Open the Paytm App and tap on the Search Button (magnifying glass icon). Type ‘Referral’ and select the ‘Referral Code’ option under services.
- Step 2: The ‘Welcome to Paytm’ screen will appear. Tap on the ‘Enter Referral Code’ box.
- Step 3: Your friend enters your unique 10-digit code into the box and taps ‘Submit’.
- Step 4: A ‘Success’ message confirms the referral code is applied. Tap ‘Make UPI Payment’ to proceed with your first eligible UPI payment.
Once your first UPI payment is successfully completed, both you and your friend will receive your respective cashback and rewards!
