What is RuPay?

RuPay is India’s very own card payment network, created to make digital transactions easy, secure, and accessible for everyone. The name comes from the words ‘Rupee’ and ‘Payment’, showing that it is truly a homegrown solution.

With RuPay, you can pay at ATMs, swipe at shops, and shop online — all within a highly secure network that protects you from frauds like phishing. It is India’s answer to international card networks, bringing pride and independence to our payment systems.
