Step by Step Guide to Send Money Using Paytm UPI

Step 1– Open the Paytm app and log in to your account
Step 2– Click on the ‘Scan and Pay’ option or ‘Send Money to Anyone’ option. In the ‘Scan and Pay’ option you can send money by either scanning the QR code or by adding the recipient’s phone number. You can also select the recipient’s phone number from your phone’s contact list.
Step 3– Enter the amount you want to send to the recipient and click on the ‘Pay’ option
Step 4– Enter the Paytm UPI PIN

How to use UPI To Transfer Money Through Paytm?
Paytm UPI mobile application allows users to transfer money in multiple ways. Whether it is a QR code, VPA, mobile number, or UPI ID, these methods are easy to use and hassle-free. Let’s take a look at the process to transfer funds by using either of these funds.
Entering the UPI ID- To send money using Paytm UPI ID, all one needs to do is open the mobile payment application, and enter the receiver’s UPI ID. After this, the user needs to enter the amount they want to transfer and verify the transaction by entering the MPIN. After entering the MPIN, the transaction will be completed in a jiffy.
Scanning UPI QR Code- The users can send money through Paytm UPI by scanning the receiver’s OR code. One just needs to open a mobile payment app such as Paytm click on ‘Scan and Pay’. Scan the OR code of the receiver and enter the amount to be paid. Lastly, enter the PIN and the payment will be completed in a few seconds.
Choosing a Contact/Entering Mobile Number- Transfering money to anyone is as simple as sending a message. The user simply needs to select the contact from the phonebook or enter a mobile number, along with the amount to be transferred followed by the PIN. Once the payment is complete, the user will receive a notification of a successful transaction.
How to Delete UPI ID From Paytm?
If an individual wants to deregister their UPI profile from Paytm, then they can follow the below-mentioned steps to do the same:
Step 1– Login to the Paytm application and tap on ‘UPI Section’
Step 2– Next, the user can see their UPI account (linked bank account and UPI ID). Just tap on the three vertical dots in the top right corner. The user can click on the option of ‘Deregister UPI Profile’
Step 3– Confirm the request and tap on ‘Ok’. After clicking on the Ok button, the Paytm UPI account will be deleted successfully
