We have partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to drive the technology for its loyalty programme — DriveTrack (DT) Plus loyalty programme and payment solution. We are the first fintech company in India to provide technology solutions at this scale for an established business organisation like HPCL.

With this partnership, we will be providing technology for HPCL’s loyalty programme, empowering fleet owners in the country. We have designed the DriveTrack Plus system for HPCL and have also developed multiple mobile applications to facilitate DriveTrack Plus transactions. This move will empower over 10 lakh customers across the country and will enable transporters or businesses to digitise their logistics, ensuring better supply chain management through cashless fuel purchase, easy accounting and convenient management of fuel consumption for their fleet.

We will also be deploying Paytm Card machines at HPCL petrol pumps across the country, and will be issuing DT Plus loyalty cards that can be used for secured fuel purchase. With these prepaid cards, businesses can also get insurance for their fleet crew.

“As pioneers of mobile payments, we are bringing industry-first innovative solutions for India’s businesses. We are happy to partner with HPCL to reform the DriveTrack Plus program that will enable fleet owners and operators with cashless transactions, thus driving the digital transformation in India. We are constantly coming up with technology-led innovations to ensure convenience for both businesses and customers”

“HPCL was amongst the first oil companies in the country to introduce cashless payment systems way back in 2001. The card was a prepaid card where retail customers were rewarded for their purchases and were provided with quarterly statements of their purchases. DriveTrack fleet card was introduced in the year 2003 for fleet operators. In February 2010, DriveTrack card program was upgraded to DriveTrack Plus program by adding various value added services. HPCL has now partnered with One97 Communications Limited (OCL) to rebuild the existing DiveTrack Plus program afresh, from scratch, with improved technology and infrastructure on a completely new and improved platform. The new program is loaded with many customer centric features most of which are first among the industry, such as 100% Android terminals, latest technology stack, latest SQL database, merchant app/customer app/driver app, multiple Payment Gateways, direct UPI transactions, QR/mobile based transactions, and faster terminal/website applications. We hope that this advanced DriveTrack Plus program with loaded features will be a big hit with customers and ensures fast-tracking of digital transactions at HPCL Retail Outlets.”
