A user of X (formerly Twitter) took to his account to inform how he was asked to pay via Paytm when he gave Rs. 50 notes to a coconut water seller. “After having a coconut water I gave him Rs.50 note & he replied “Sir @Paytm Kardijiye”. A great example of Evolution of Digital commerce in India & leading technology for street vendors in India! @vijayshekhar,” he tweeted.
