Aadhaar Seeding is the process of linking an individual’s Aadhaar number with their bank account or government profile. This linkage ensures that government benefits, subsidies, and payments are directly credited to the person’s account without intermediaries.

Aadhaar Seeding enables Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT), helping eliminate fraud and duplicate identities. It’s required for receiving LPG subsidies, pension disbursements, MGNREGA wages, and other welfare schemes.

How to Seed

Aadhaar can be seeded with a bank account through net banking, mobile banking, ATM, or by visiting the branch with necessary documents. You can also check seeding status via UIDAI or NPCI portals.
