We believe in the power of human connections. Our CSR arm Paytm Foundation with Paytmers recently embarked on a heartfelt journey to the Old Age Rejuvenation Center in DLF Phase 2, Gurugram, in collaboration with Dignity Foundation, a dedicated NGO enriching the lives of senior citizens.
Over 40 seniors welcomed Paytmers with warm smiles and heartfelt excitement, sharing glimpses of their journeys and cherished moments. Building on this energy, Paytmers infused the gathering with vibrant music and dance, sparking joyful connections. Together, they exchanged stories and experiences, bridging generations and creating a beautiful harmony of mutual understanding.
Empowering Senior Citizens with Digital Literacy
Understanding the growing importance of digital safety, we conducted an engaging session to empower the elderly with safe online practices. Our training program is designed to equip senior citizens with essential digital literacy skills, ensuring safe and informed technology usage. They learned how to identify secure websites for transactions, recognize and avoid online scams, and manage mobile apps and digital payments securely. These practical skills instilled confidence, enabling them to navigate digital platforms while safeguarding their personal information.
We aim to provide meaningful guidance through structured training, empowering individuals with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions. This initiative is a step toward digital and financial empowerment, enhancing efficiency and fostering stronger community support. As part of our ongoing volunteering initiatives, Paytm Foundation has been conducting comprehensive financial literacy sessions. Through our initiative, we have reached Anganwadi staff, senior citizens, and women from diverse organizations, focusing on core financial management principles.
