Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm Paytm Foundation has distributed 50 laptops to two government schools (Municipal Girls Inter College and Aminabad Inter College) in Lucknow under the aegis of Municipal Corporation of Lucknow on November 2. These laptops will be used to establish computer labs in two schools.
We have been supporting education and bridging the digital gap in the country, and this initiative will enable the students with modern learning tools, ensuring access to a digital education experience in the region. The event was graced by the former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and current Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, Dinesh Sharma, along with the Mayor of Lucknow, Smt. Sushma Kharkwal.
These laptops are set to revolutionize the learning experience for the students of Municipal Girls Inter College and Aminabad Inter College. By establishing computer labs, these schools are now equipped to provide a conducive environment for digital learning, empowering students with essential skills for the future. This will serve as valuable tools for research, interactive learning, and skill development, enhancing the overall educational experience.
We aim to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the world of technology. This will enable them to develop digital literacy skills, enhance their learning capabilities, and open up new avenues for their future. Access to digital tools and technology-enabled learning environments will not only enhance their academic performance but also equip them with the skills required to thrive in the digital age.
The distribution of laptops to these schools is a testament to our commitment to ensuring equal access to quality education, even in remote regions. This collaborative approach towards education will not only improve the learning outcomes for students but also empower teachers with the necessary tools for their professional development.
