  • Check Operator/Number: Double-check that the mobile number or DTH ID you entered during the transaction was correct, as this is a common source of error.

  • Contact Paytm Support (Crucial): Since the money was correctly debited for a service request, the issue needs immediate resolution via support.

    • Go to the profile section in your Paytm app.

    • Locate the 'My Orders' and tap on the specific recharge transaction in your history.

    • Tap on it and select 'Need Help?' to raise a ticket regarding the "Incorrect Recharge Benefit Received."

  • Provide Details: In your complaint, clearly state:

    • The Plan You Paid For.

    • The Benefit You Actually Received.

    • Your Transaction ID.

Paytm support will then coordinate with the recharge provider to ensure the correct plan is activated or that a refund is processed.
