Steps to Pay Rent Using Credit Card on Paytm
Follow the steps to pay your rent:
- Navigate to Rent Payment:
- Open the Paytm App.
- Scroll to the 'Recharge & Bill Payments' section.
- Tap on 'Rent Payment' or search for 'Pay Rent' in the search bar.
- Select Payment Type:
- Choose 'House Rent' or the relevant rent category.
- Enter Landlord Details:
- Enter your Landlord's Name.
- Enter the Landlord's Bank Account Number and IFSC Code (the rent amount will be transferred to this account).
- Enter Rent Amount:
- Enter the Rent Amount you wish to pay.
- Review any applicable convenience fee.
- Make Payment:
- Tap 'Proceed to Pay'.
- Select 'Credit Card' as your payment method.
- Enter your credit card details (card number, expiry, CVV) or select a saved card.
- Complete the payment by entering the OTP sent by your bank.
- Confirmation:
- Upon successful payment, the rent amount (minus any fees) will be transferred to your landlord's bank account within 2-3 working days.
- You will receive a confirmation and can download the receipt for your records.
