If you are facing issues transferring your existing balance from the Paytm Wallet to your bank account, please be aware that the Wallet functionality has been restricted.

For existing balances:

Any balance remaining in your Paytm Wallet from past credits, refunds, or cashbacks is typically available to be used for merchants (e.g., paying bills, recharges, or merchant UPI payments) or for withdrawal to your bank account, subject to certain conditions and regulatory guidance.

Here is how you can initiate a transfer of your remaining balance:

Transferring Your Wallet Balance to Bank

  • Open the Paytm app and use the search bar at the top. Type 'Wallet' and select the relevant option.
  • Look for and tap on the 'Wallet to Bank' option.
  • Enter your Paytm Payments Bank Passcode (or other authentication method).
  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
  • Choose the linked bank account to which you want the money transferred.
  • Proceed with the transaction. The amount will be transferred to your selected bank account.

Important Note on Wallet Status:

Due to recent regulatory changes, the operations of the Paytm Payments Bank Wallet have been restricted. If the standard "Transfer to Bank" option is unavailable or fails, your remaining wallet balance will be handled according to Paytm's final resolution plan, which may include direct settlement to your linked bank account.

If the transfer fails or the option is missing, it is advised to use the remaining balance for merchant payments (e.g., utility bills, mobile recharges) or contact Paytm Customer Support directly for specific guidance on your balance withdrawal.
