What is UPI registration?

UPI registration is the process of setting up a Unified Payments Interface account on a mobile application to enable instant real-time fund transfers between bank accounts. To register, you must link your bank-registered mobile number, select your bank, and create a unique Virtual Payment Address (VPA) or UPI ID. The final step involves setting a secure UPI PIN using your debit card details or Aadhaar. Once registered, you can send and receive money, pay bills, and scan QR codes for secure digital payments.
