What is a UPI QR?

A UPI QR code is a machine-readable 2D barcode used for making instant digital payments through the Unified Payments Interface. It contains essential payment details like the receiver's UPI ID or Virtual Payment Address. When scanned using any UPI-enabled mobile application, it allows users to transfer funds directly from their bank account to the recipient's account. These codes come in two types: static, where users manually enter the amount, and dynamic, which includes a pre-filled transaction amount for a faster checkout process.
