How to use the UPI payment system?

To use the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) system, you must have a bank account linked to your mobile number and a smartphone with an active internet connection. Follow these steps to get started:

• Download a UPI enabled application and verify your mobile number.
• Select your bank and link your account to create a unique UPI ID or Virtual Payment Address (VPA).
• Set a secure 4 or 6 digit UPI PIN using your debit card details.
• To make payments, scan a QR code or enter the recipient's UPI ID or mobile number.
• Enter the amount, authorize with your UPI PIN, and the funds will be transferred instantly 24/7.
